 How?

There are 3 types of logins for Whale:

Log in with email

  1. Go to https://app.usewhale.io/login
  2. Log in with the email address you were invited with
  3. You'll receive a code.
The code expires within 15 minutes.
  4. For safety reasons, you will stay logged in until your token expires. (30 days)

Login with SSO

  1. Go to https://app.usewhale.io/login
  2. Click on the social login icon
  3. A modal will appear with your personal and professional email addresses
  4. Select the email address you were invited with

Supported SSO types:

  1. Sign in with Google
  2. Sign in with Microsoft

To login into Whale, users have to be invited with their email address by an admin.

As an admin, you can force workspace members to only login with one of our SSO - options. Read more about this here.

Not receiving the token email?

There's a big chance your firewall settings are blocking our email coming in. The solution here is to check yourself (or with your IT department) to whitelist our domain on your mail server or firewall or both.

--> domain: usewhale.io

If you are receiving the token email but the code seems to be expired/not working and you did use it within the first 15 minutes after requesting the code, this might be because of a virus scanner you have installed in your mailbox/mail server. The virus scanner might click the link to check if it's save and since it's a unique link it expires when clicked.

Best there is to bypass that virusscanner and whitelist our domain name as well!
