How Alice shows what backs each answer

See how well your documentation backs each Alice answer: directly supported, partial, or not covered.

When you ask Alice, Whale's AI assistant, a question, each answer now shows how well your workspace documentation backs it. That way you know when to act on an answer and when to check it first.

The three signals

  • Directly supported: the answer comes straight from your documented content. Safe to act on.

  • Partially supported: your docs cover part of it. Open the source before acting.

  • Not covered: your documentation doesn't answer this, and Alice says so instead of guessing.

Where you see it: the signal appears on each answer alongside the source citations Alice already gives. Click a source to open the card or document it came from.

Tip: a "not covered" result is a good prompt to add a card, so the next person who asks gets a documented answer.
